Yellow is. Yellow cardstock papers are few. The most lovely of yellows is an Arturo 100 per cent cotton stock made in Italy from paper makers that go back centuries. It is a more golden yellow than others. This cardstock is suitable for engraved, letterpress, or thermography printed invitations.
One of our suppliers offers a thick heavy cotton that makes for a lovely ink wash in yellow that looks almost like a water color wash. Then, another ink color is chosen to print the wording. It is a lovely effect with two sends through the press.
This process allows the bride to select a PMS color for her chosen yellow. It is best to use the whitest cardstock possible to control the results.
Yellow is a fresh, rich color for spring and summer, and mixed with fall colors is suitable for fall wedding invitations as well both in attire and in wedding invitations.
